WOW! I wonder if it'd be possible to do a Mirabilia totally in beads -- like the Ink Circles design that was done entirely that way: weighted a ton, but spectacular.

I know it is not the postman but I could not find the shopping thread. Got these at my LNS yesterday when my stitching group met there.

Great stash, Rose! Those fabrics look lovely. Do you already have the projects in mind for these. And I see you got the new DMC thread pack also.

Now that I have discovered how much I enjoy stitching the Hardanger designs I decided that the cards I send for bdays, etc should be stitched so ordered cards from 123Stitch and Nordic Needle, which arrived last week.
Image
(I always go overboard as you can tell. Couldn't decide between sizes and colors so got a few different ones and a variety pack).
The "Elegant Greetings was part of the variety pack, which was on sale. The designs are very pretty and I will probably try them, but the directions don't come close to Mabel's and though this is supposed to be good for beginners, there is no way I would even think I could stitch any of these if I didn't know many of the stitches already because of our current SOW SAL. Once again, thank you so much, Mabel!

Yes I could not resist the new color pack. The plum purple and the teal blue are just to die for. Well since I was buying the threads I had to make.it worth the transaction so when I saw the fabric those colors just screamed buy us buy us!!!!!!!!!!

The PTB is going into a holiday exchange for our group along with a chart and possibly some fabric.

:applesauce: :applesauce: The new DMC colors are really pretty! And your Waterlilies are beautiful! I haven't ventured into the silks yet. I think I'm afraid I will want to toss everything else away. Do you have special plans for these and for your fabric?

Carole, the silks are for the Dressmaker's Daughter Mirabilia chart Fccs sent me, as is the fabric. Two pieces of the fabric as my mom loved the chart so much she wants to stitch it with me.

Rose, so hard to pick one! They're all so bright! I really like the blues though. :P

That's some very nice stash there, Victoria!

Ought to keep you in needles for a very very very long time! Wherever did you get a batch of needles like that? Did I miss something?

My Mum has kindly bought me another couple of cross stitches for my Christmas. They both arrived on Monday and are now hiding until the big day! I've chosen 'Three Little Maids' by Valerie Pfeiffer:

And a bigger more complicated 'Mrs Tiggywinkle Sampler' which will probably take me years to complete :)

What a lot of lovely new stash everyone! I only got some audiobooks, and I've ordered fabric and Threadworx threads from Holand but won't get them until we go over there for New Year's Eve as I had them sent to my mother. *tries to be patient*

I don't check my mailbox every day and since I hadn't checked it since Saturday, I thought I better today (before tomorrow's forecast snow). I am sooooo glad I did because I had a surprise: a chart and beautiful fabric and fibers from LadyS!!!
