OK, thanks for your patience everyone.... here we go.

First pic with the lettering - I did it in tent stitch in 814 and was very pleased with it!!



Next - this was taken on Friday evening I believe - it was at the stage where I'd done everything apart from those little patches of red in the skirt, and everything else was to be filled in with black!! So there were the 7,000 black stitches to be done!


Finally on Monday while I was at work OH took this - here she is!

(I know part of the edge got cut off in the photo, but I'll send HAED enough WIP pictures and things for them to piece it together [am very anxious for them to believe I really did it, so I get my free chart!!! ]

And just for the sake of it (and in case HAED want it as well) a picture of the back


So there we have it!! Now I know the photos turned out, she can have a bath tonight!

Wow, she's beautiful, well done! The colours in this are so rich and her skirt looks as if it's really satin or something. The back is so neat too!

I don't think my usual disposable cameras would have the power to get that close!! All it says is my initials & "Dec 2009", as in when I finished it... was going to put "Dec 2008-Dec 2009"... although this was very late on Sunday night and think I was approaching burnout!!! I guess I'll always be able to remember I did it in a year, finishing in December 2009 so will always know

Wow you have done a superb job of this. I love the title that you have sewn on the bottom. It makes it unique and I think really adds to the overall finish.
