Lovely finish on the card, the patterned paper really sets it off!

Sorry I've been missing in action lately, but I do have had some pieces stitched, here they are:



United We stand is a small project I stitched for my nephew, who's so fond of all things America. I loved stitching it because it has metallic threads, beads and special stitches. Plus, the letters are made of 7 different shades and the effect is really impressive (it took me much to finish them, as a consequence!)

Then I stitched a small card for my son's friend, who's going to have her 5ty birthday party tomorrow:



I arranged and personalised an old pattern and decorated my card with materials I got from Cross Stitcher magazine freebies.

Sylvia both are wonderful projects the added bits and bobs on the card really make it stand out!!!!!
