Ali, I didn't used to like using yeast, but I wanted to bake a focaccia so used dried yeast and it worked a treat, have been baking bath buns and pizzas and so on since -- try it, it ain't scary really
Postie brought me some replacement threads yesterday, the lady who sold me the House of Embroidery threads had left out part of the order, but I found I didn't need those anymore so asked for a refund, then decided to ask for some #12 perles instead because I'd decided to use them on Odessa, and she sent them no problem, so here are my threads, they are two shades of House of Embroidery Birch in perle #5, 8 and 12:

Oh, I'd love a bread maker, Mauveme!! My problem is the thought of using yeast, for some unknown reason, scares me half to death!!

Happy baking!!

That's the beauty of a bread maker, just put all the ingredients in and let it do it's magic.

My mom swears by hers, although she says the risk is she ends up eating too much bread as she sets it so it's fresh and warm in the morning.

Since I love bread and am overweight, I decided not to buy myself one, and buy less bread as well, so that I can stay away from it!

That's my plan too. Hopefully spend less on bread. I am not a major bread eater but I do like different breads. and it can get expensive . I am also just tired of throwing away half a loaf of bread every week .(and I hate bread that has been frozen for too long)

Bread itself isn't fattening - it's all the stuff we put ON the bread that makes it that way.

I haven't bought bread in the 2-3 years that I've had my breadmaker!
I bake 1 loaf a week and then slice and freeze ready for toast once it's a couple of days old. Dried yeast you measure in a spoon just like sugar and salt!
Anyway back on topic, yesterday the postie brought me 2 passports (1 old, 1 new) and a new game for my Wii - a day before release! Yay!
No stitchy stuff though!

I came home from Finland to find my PTP christmas in July sale order was here!!
The green is Lagoon in 28ct crystal cashel. I plan on using this for Mira's Bluebeards Princess and the blue is Phantom also 28ct cashel but not crystal. Wasn't sure what to do with that one just liked the colour but now its in my hands I think it would be perfect for Mira's Lady Alexandra! I think the yellow gown would really really pop on it!!!

The fabrics are lovely. That blue is an amazing deep shade. I am looking forward to your updates on that fabric.

Lovely fabrics, the green is similar to a silkweaver one I have (no sparkle in that one though) which I was actually planning to use for Bluebeard's Princess as well

The dark fabric is amazing, think Lady Alexandra would look fab on it

She brought me some #3 perles to experiment with on afghan fabric -- gosh they're chunky! And a skein of Wildflowers to use in my Tree of Stitches; it's only for the owl and the rabbit so there will be plenty left for other projects

I can relate to the photography issues, sometimes it isn't very easy to get the lighting just right! Thanks for the info--you've chosen some very nice colors--the wildflowers is going to look super on the TOS
