Pah Pah, sweep, sweep, sweep
Now that I've dusted this thread off and got rid of the cobwebs I can now show you some

of what I've be working on recently.
I was making really good progress on The Windmill for a while, but noticed that I was gradually putting less and less stitches into it so it got put aside for a couple of weeks and got started on a number of freebies that I like. I'm stitching these over 1 on 28 count cause if I like stitching 28ct over one I'll be able to fit some of my HAEDs on a fat quarter that would not fit if I used 25ct. I've stitched two of the 5 designs that will fit on the piece of fabric I have.
Orchid: (the fabric is actually a mint green but it doesn't show well in the pictures)

Agapanthus:
I've also stitched 2 & 3 of the EMS Advent Numbers to a point - I'm STILL waiting for some petite braid to come in (I've only got it ordered from three places, two of those orders its the only thing, and the other order has other items that need to be backordered!

) but I forgot to bring the piece of fabric to work to get piccies.

Lovely flowers -- how are you enjoying the fabric?

I'm liking using it although I have to be very careful not to make big mistakes because its a bugger to

. I had to

a couple of large sections of the agapanthus as I was struggling to line up the pattern (printed over 4 pages with no overlap) and was making quite a few mistakes. I ended up solving the problem by using a option in adobe to print all pages on a single page, then folded it so it became just one big pattern (much easier!).

Nice work! I'm looking forward to seeing the windmill grow. Are you going to frame the flowers, or finish them another way?

At the moment the orchid and the agapanthus are still attached to the larger piece of fabric that they are stitched on and I don't plan on cutting it up until all the 7 individual projects planned for it are stitched as having a larger piece of fabric means that I can use my qsnaps. Once they're all done I tossing up whether to get them framed all together, some of them together or all individually.
