I really hope the tea came out okay. I love this picture and think it is wonderful how quickly you are doing it. I guess the thoughts behind it are making it go so fast - it will be a wonderful gift.
Oh no! I may just have killed the cat (not really!) when I finished screaming and sobbing hysterically! I do hope the stain all comes out.
I ALWAYS keep my sewing in a closed room, minus cats, when I'm not in there with it! I know I'd get hysterical if anything dreadful happened to my stitching!
You can still see some in the lower left hand corner, but I think it will mostly be covered up with stitching and framing. Whew!
Unfortunately I can't just kill the cat as I have four and they will all lie and say the other one did it. Though I have one as a prime suspect because he likes to drink my tea when it's on the counter. *raises a suspicious eyebrow in kitty's direction*

They really do blame each other!! Our Solly always catches mice and other little furries and then leave them beside Penny or Ellie as he knows it upsets me!! You can literally hear him saying "It was her ..... honest!!"
Many years ago cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.
Mabel, it's a water soluable pen that I get at JoAnn Fabrics here in the USA. It works great! The only trouble is that it's only good for about 5 projects because the tip is felt-like and skimming it across the holes in the fabric chews it up. But it's only about $3 so I don't mind picking up new ones pretty frequently.
Here's yesterday's progress - the boat is appearing! The plus side of this darn cold is that I'm home from work so I have more time to stitch.
