Just read through this thread for the first time. :applesauce: :applesauce: That is going to be beautiful. I assume it is all black and white? Just lovely and you have done a fine job.

Hi Carole - thanks for popping by - it is actually something like 24 colors - shades of black, white, brown, and gray - who knew there could be so many shades of white, brown, and gray (at least the black was straight forward).

That is an amazing cross stitch. I see the gray. It looks like a shadow and I never even thought of it as gray. My mind said shadow. I'm assuming that is gray cross stitch and not the shadow of the camera? I really like this.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Carole - it is indeed gray cross stitch and not a shadow from the camera. I love working the big blocks of color - just know that all of that shadowy (?) looking area is tonssssss of confetti - drives me batty at the time - but I do like the effect.

Hey neighbor Marniecat (I'm next door in Trabuco Canyon) - I am continuing to work on this - tried the rotation thing and just cannot get into it. I do have smaller projects to work on when I just don't feel like dragging this out for an hour.....but at this point, I don't do well with a rotation on large projects. :-)

Long time since the last update - boy am I lazy with uploading photos. This is my progress as of 8/22/11. I've done some more stitching since - but not much. I did complete a bunch of stuff for my family - forgot to take pictures before dropping them at the framer - I will post photos in the mini project thread as soon as I get them back in a week or two. My stitchy bug has kinda left me during the week and I usually spend only one weekend day stitching at the moment. I'm sure that will change as the weather cools down. I think I might try adding another project (easier) to work on a bit during the week. 25 count fabric just makes it seem like no progress is being made - even if I get 1000 stitches done in a single day. I ordered some fabric for my Royal Holiday Queen - I think that will be my relief project - and fun to work on through Christmas!

I should also add - the bottom is actually showing the bottom of the design.
