Thank you all. I have been working on her more this week and I am actually getting excited again about her that I do not want to put her down and I am can not wait til I finish her.... except for the french knots... for one, I can not do french knots to save my life and two, I do not like doing french knots (If I could do one I wouldn't like it haha)

You could substitute seed beads for the french knots--would really look nice and sparkly :)

Karen4bells: That is a good idea using seed beads, I will have to check into that. I have been practacing french knots I just can not seem to get the trick of it haha. So Seed beads here I come.

Cherryblossom: You should not be jealous believe me she can be a bit of a pain to work on and it really is the half stitches.

Dana: I have to always step back to admire how she is coming along and she is stitching up pretty amazingly but not fast that is for sure.

Thank you everyone for the great compliments. It is very encouraging to keep it up with her and not put her down for too long. Thanks

Here is an update of the work that I have done on the Enchantress and I have finished the brown up at the tree and did a little bit around the dress and the grassy patches and then did a little bit of the gold colour that is at the bottom of the dress area.

Oh but I did get more thread for her from the company...unfortunately it was not a colour that I asked for but hey I can use that colour for something else.

She's looking so stunning! She will be worth the time you are putting into her! I hope you manage to get the needed threads--shame on them for not sending the proper ones! Keep practicing the french knots--and if that doesn't work out, then I'd definitely look into getting some seed beads--they'd really look fantastic on this design :)

She looks great!!! :applesauce:

I could never get the hang of French knots either,
Went onto YouTube one day and looked up French knots.
I then sat there with my thread and aida and did what they was doing as I played the video.

I can now do French knots, I don't see why I had so much problems with them.
So easy now

Karen4bells: I think you have totally convienced me to use seed beads now especially who does not like bling and she needs it haha.

Paul: I know what vidoes you are talking about I am so jealous now. I did the same thing as you and still have not been able to make them. I have a feeling I will be saying the same thing as you when I finally master them :D.

Faith and Tiffstitch: Unfortunately no I did not recieve the colours I needed. I was sent the light aqua thread when I still have quite a bit left after doing that colour. So I am still waiting but it is okay I will be working on her for a while so when the right threads do arrive I will just finish off those areas.
