Yeay!!! Finally finished Promises Kept! Here's a pic - washed but still damp!

I really didn't get on with the cording - maybe because I used replacement gold thread as I lost the original stuff. Instead of using cording on the border I just bodged it by stitching around the blue in the gold thread. I did use cording for the railing through!

Ok - going to get on with my Vic House now! Hope to update that one tomorrow!

The gold thread looks fine to me! I can see why you'd want it on the railing, but no real need for it on the border - besides - who's going to know that it's 'supposed' to be there?

Looks very good. I would have done the same as you with the gold thread. Easier, I'm sure and it looks very pretty. This is one to be very proud of.

Just love the way you have finished the border, it looks spot on. Congratulations on a wonderful project now finished.
