The coaster is beautiful, well done

Well I had meant to do some more stitching tonight but shamefully I stayed out talking later than planned.

So anyhow, I am going to get up a little earlier and try to get an hour or so done in the morning.

Anyhow, here was my progress to last night.



Mabel there is only one more shade to go into the mix after I complete the colour I just started. It's not really very dark but is the darkest of the ones on here.
I'll try and do some of it next, then you'll get to see.

Mabel, I actually looked at the numbers today, the darkest colour is 208.

I love the coaster, TB, it's beautiful. The lilac one is so pretty too - my favourite colour!

I love the colors on the flower and I can't wait to see if finished.

Thanks for the info, TB -- fairly light then, more towards lilac than purple; I love those lilac roses, they always seem to have a very fresh citrussy scent!

So, is the purple one your favourite so far?

Hmm, hard to say.
I love the purple because it's my favourite colour but I don't think it's as pretty as the red one at the moment, because of the white in it. I would have preferred a lighter lilac shade.
I'm hoping though that once the green leaves are on as well, that it lifts the white more and it all looks good.
I like the picture of it on the design, so I'm hopeful!

I'm working on the greens now, so I'm hoping it makes the difference and it ends up as nice as the one on the design picture.

Oh, that is so beautiful!! I really like the white in it - it makes it look so fresh and as if the sun is shining on it!!

Love your roses - I don't have a lot of patience with floral designs but love the end result!!

I can see what you mean a bit, but there will be backstitch done on the petals right? I think once that is done the way the white is arranged will look clearer
