My grandma has loads of fantastic ornaments and wall hangings that always come out at Christmas - I would love to start my own traditions like that as I don't think this is something you could keep up all year round! :thinks: I love it though!!

Brilliant finish on Castle, and I hope your dog heals well.. Dogs do get by without eyesight much better than we do, but I hope he heals!

We went to a friend's wedding yesterday I am rubbish sleeping away from home (despite having an amazing bed in the hotel) I was up at 6 even though we were still sitting up eating hamburgers in bed at 2 this morning!

I took a small piece of Oatmeal coloured Aida with me and a couple of threads and knocked this little one up whilst watching Spongebob Squarepants :D

sorry for the grim picture but the light in the room is rubbish

I made him for my boyfriend who is going back to London tomorrow  hopefully he will put it up at his work space in school

Your Cut thru Castle is awesome!!!!! I have a few from my Cross Stitcher;s magazines. I think it is cut beach, cut hut, cut pirates..... I haven't try them yet but after seeing your project, I might give it a try.

Howdy,

Not had a chance to do a great deal, I tried make some good progress but was forced to travel down to Southend on Sea for a few days - attempting to find 25 lost customer files in 300+ boxes. Needless to say I didn't get a great deal done other than being knee deep in paper by day and Jagermeister by night :toast:

here is my progress anyway!
Image

I might just make it by the time my niece is born (due around 16th Jan)

Because of the impending job loss (all signs say it will be Halloween now) Gat, (My boyfriend) and I have decided to make something to give to each other, I am definitely going to make him some eggnog muffins as I think he will love them. I am also planning a sampler based on one of his fave songs - Way back home by bob crosby and the bobcats, I have been scouring my mags and books for ideas and will hopefully have something drawn up next week - must not get distracted but new projects are exciting!!

Yes definitely new projects are exciting and lots of fun. Sounds like you will have a lot of fun getting the sampler together and charted ready to start on.

Sorry to hear about the job loss and hope something comes up for you soon.

:applesauce: on the sampler. I hope you can finish it in time, but if it is late, it will still be a lovely gift.

Sorry about your impending job loss and I hope something else turns up for you soon.
