Suzi's stitching Purple flower and Pearl lilly.

I didn't manage to get much stitching done over the weekend. So heres a late update.



Page one is almost completed. The whole thing should be finished fairly quickly now as the first square has the most stitching and i must admit Pearl lilly is starting to look at me... i can see it looking.. i can hear it saying... "open me... start me... you know you want to..."

I'm trying to ignore it for the moment but im not sure how long i'm going to last out.


@Crafterglen. Im still wading my way through the never-ending pages of HAED's
There are quite a few i absolutly adore and want to do. But i think the first one i order will be the most colourful on i can find and most likely cartoony- for the fun factor although i definatly want to stitch. Air. Water and Fire by Jonathan Earl Bowser. I think they would make a beautiful trio if framed and presented together... But a nice bright, fun one first i think.

Yes, the legend for the chart shows a DMC conversion equivelent.

Suzi your stitching is coming along amazingly, you will soon have this one done now. You know you said you could hear Pearl Lily calling you? Well guess what came today? Yes all three of my kits arrived, I was quite surprised as I had not expected them so quickly, I have not opened them yet as I have to get my stitching work done but how long that will last I do not know? Will post some photos soon of the ones I got. Maybe we can stitch Lily together?

Saturday update.

I managed to finish the first square. So thats the major portion of the work finished. It wont be framed for a while as we want a glass frame with no border so one will have to be either stumbled upon on ordered.

Here's the first square finished.


I've started on the second square.



But a new project has landed at my door. My boyfriends sister has bought a small kit she wants stitching for her kitchen, it's only tiny. I figured i should make a start on it to get it back to her asap.



Next update on Wednesday if all goes well.

Since my weekly routine has changed somewhat im not getting chance to stitch on a weekend. So im planning on updates on sat and wednesday (setting days so my mum knows when to check)

I'm hoping to complete this square by my saturday update and have a start picture to show of Pearl lilly.

I've done a little more of my BF's sisters project. (you should be able to see what it is now)


I'm also planning my next project. I've decided to join the fun and order a HAED. I've narrowed my choices down to 3(the origional list of choices was about 30 long)
