Have a good time Sally. I sent you a letter a few days ago so if you don't have it yet, it will be waiting for you when you get back. I hope to write letters to my other penpals when I am computer less. I have been very neglectful but will get to everyone soon.

Great progress!! I hope you're able to get your Mac fixed up easily. That sounds like quite the contraption to get it there and I hope the Apple people treat it with the same respect!

One advantage of being without my computer (Yay its back) was I really got a lot of stitching in. Finished TOS and had so much fun doing it and learned so much too. On to Hardanger next and then maybe TGE. First, Laverne decided she liked TOS after all:

I finally managed to get a full photo without her:

Since I don't do beads, this is it. I may try to do it again on the original 28 ct fabric, using different colored variegated threads. I loved using those and am thinking I will try it with shades of yellow and orange.

Your TOS is gorgeous Carole - the more so because you didn't give up on it! Now when I come across a stitch which I think I can't do I think of you - perseverance and practice pays off! Don't forget to add it to the thread of finished trees on here!

Thank you Mrs MBK. I will add it to that thread too. I did put it up on the SS forum. there are some really gorgeous ones there too. But I think our little group has represented us very well indeed.

it's really beautiful, carole. and it's alot bigger than i thought. perhaps the size perspective is changed by the proximity of a cat.
laverne is just so cute...
i think you did well, and the greens are lovely. if i ever get to it, i plan on doing greens, too.

It is a bit large as I used 20 ct fabric instead of the 28 or even 32 ct which a lot of the trees were done on. So since so much is over 2 or even 4 it makes it a larger piece. I didn't intend on sticking with one color when I started, but it seemed kind of natural as I went to do that. Some of the color combinations which were used were just beautiful. So hard to believe that one design could be so unique for each stitcher.
