Hi Stitchers, well I figured I needed to post the picture here. Christmas Elegance is finally done (but not framed yet). She's done on hand-dyed Dragon's Moon in silks. The silks were very nice to use but very difficult to get matching skeins, even across the same dyelot. Some colors were so radically different I had to find two colors I could blend to get back to the right color. I did her skin in one over, which is a bit difficult on the hand-dyed since the holes shrink up with the dying process. I did her gloves in single thread to give a more delicate look. We're still debating if she needs a delicate necklace to balance her.
