Thanks everyone for your encouragement! Here is Part 2 complete except for sparklies:
Image
The centre of each Jessica flower and lantern will require a bead and around the flowers a few beads will be scattered. A crystal will be sewn at the base of each corner Chrysanthemum stem and at the mid point of each border side.
I was going to stop here and carry on with Page 1 of QS Dragonfly - but I don't think I can.......... North Moongate here we come!

This is such a beautiful design and so intricate! Your stitching is also beautiful. It's fun to see the garden emerge in sections - you have something complete to look at while you're doing the next part. Lovely! :applesauce:

:applesauce: Fantastic. It is hard to believe that you still have things to add to the design. It looks so perfectly complete as is. You are making amazing progress too. Waiting on the next update! :applesauce:

Beautiful work, I love seeing your updates!

By the way, do you "tuck in" the last stitches of your jessica stich?

Thanks Mabel - don't think I tuck in my stitches, they are just like Rhodes stitches in that you keep on going around until you get to your last hole and your last stitch is your uppermost stitch. (Think I have just confused myself there @rotfl: )

Here is Part 3 complete, first just cross stitches and then specialities and back/long stitch:
ImageImage
The gate is repeated on the other 3 sides - but with different "views" through each gate. No beads in these parts (phew!) - just a crystal at the top of each gate. I think I will carry on working on this one until Friday - then switch to QS Dragonfly to coincide with the SAL for the week on the HAED BB to try and get the page finished!

Thanks for all your comments and interest in this piece!
