Perhaps it was supposed to be stitched on a smaller count fabric with 3 threads?
Regardless, yours looks wonderful without the color. It is going to be amazing and you are making great progress.

Lovely design and great work on it so far. I admire your discipline in sticking to the black - I don't think I could hold out on it

oh so excited, I get to add colour now.
But have to make a scissor fob first. -once the dent from the needles is gone from my thumb.

You have persevered so well with the black adding the colour will be really exciting !!! I can't wait to see the colour develop. Despite that I think it looks quite nice just black and white !!!
