Time for another update! I have most of her dress finished now--just need to do the beading and metallic threads on it, also part of the scarf is done. Here's how it looks now--the colors are almost true on both the stitching and the fabric

I've made a wee bit of a start on the metallic, I just had to see how it would look--so far it's looking pretty nice. Here's a close up of what I've done. It's a bit difficult to see the full effect, but if you look closely, you should see some dark green metallic sparkle, it separates the black bodice of the dress from the colorful skirt of the dress. There will be more of that kreinik braid throughout the skirt, as well as beading. Here's the closeup

not only does it sparkle, but the close up shows how beautifully you have stitched this. they are so neat and even. I'm not sure my stitching is as neat and uniform as this.
