A small update on the Trio! I was feeling a little under the weather last weekend ( you know the kind where you feel well enough to stitch but not well enough to do household chores? :lol: ), so I took a break from Robin's Nest and re-visited this HAED. I worked on it so feverishly in Jan and ended up with such a neck cramp that every time I thought about this project, my neck would hurt. I think the culprit was the new Qsnaps I was using. I just can't seem to get the hang of using them and maintaining a good posture. So...back to the hoop it is and it seems to be working better. Enough rambling....

:wub: :wub: :wub: Oh how I love this!!! Great update on it and I'm sorry to hear that using the qsnaps didn't work out for you. I am glad I don't seem to have that problem--as I absolutely love using them--may need to add a couple more to my stash soon :lol: :lol:

I am sorry you had trouble with the q-snap... I love it but i use a stand and I can see how it would get heavy and hard on your muscles using it "in-hand".

Such an adorable project. The colours are very uplifing and the design makes me smile. Great progress. Yes, we each need to find a way to stitch that works for us, especially on an HAED or other large project.

:applesauce: Wonderful update. I love these owls. And it seems like there is a new one at least once a week. I had trouble with the larger sized Q-snaps and could only use the 8 x 8 size. Even trying to make it 8 x 11 was impossible. With my new stand the larger one is possible, though I can use the 8 x 8 also. When stitching afghans, I still prefer my large hoop. What works for you is what counts.
