Excellent. That watch chain is a nice touch. Really like your framing choices, too. Congratulations.

Congrats on a beautiful finish. Your stitching is perfect and the beads for the watch chain are a wonderful detail. Even I, who hates to bead, would think about doing beads for something like that one. Love the frame too.

Now I've finished Gorjuss, I've started a project I've really been wanting to stitch - Kings and Queens from Bothy Threads. I'm started and finish William the First and already started William the Second! The characters and fabric are actually a lot bigger than I expected but I'm really enjoying stitching them.
William the First: The product of an affair between Robert I, duke of Normandy, and a woman called Herleva, William was likely known to his contemporaries as William the B**tard for much of his life. His critics continued to use this moniker (albeit behind his back) even after he defeated the English at the Battle of Hastings and earned an upgrade to William the Conqueror.

Beautiful finish and frame on the Gorjuss! We're the lace cuffs in the kit?
The kings and queens is great as well, one I've always eyed up! Love the info. Bothy threads kits are great aren't they? as I get more experienced I dislike most kits more and more, but bothy threads are really good.

William the Second (c.1056 - 1100) - On 2 August 1100, William died when he was shot by an arrow while out hunting. It was accepted as an accident, but could have been an assassination. It has been suggested that his alleged slayer, Walter Tirel, was acting under orders from William’s younger brother, Henry, who promptly seized the throne as Henry I.
I did actually mess up the stitching on his hair, but eh, it's hair after all!

Love the new project. Such fun, and a history lesson of England, to boot.
