I can understand your sticking with this one also. It is so lovely and I really am intrigued by what is a kind of 3D effect as well. I guess it is because of the way the unstitched areas kind of outline the stitched areas? And the leaves have a very "satiny" looke to them.
At least they do to me.

Another update at last. I ran out of 939 which was a substantial part of the last page on the row, so I went onto the next row while I waited for an order for threads to turn up. Now three pages into the next row! It's growing so fast and I'm exactly halfway. Onto the next...

Stunning! Beautiful! Great stitching. The colors are fantastic. I especially love the white on white stitching. It gives the piece such lovely texture!

An update at last! There was a lot of confetti on the page, plus I had to take a break for editing my book, but here we are at last. I have about another week before I'll need to put it aside again so I'm going to get started on the next page today.

Lovely.
I tried to click on the picture to get a full sized picture so I could really admire this piece, but I get a "this is a private photo". It is so pretty I was wondering if you could either use a full, rather than a thumbprint, image or give us permission to see this?

Sorry everyone - Flickr have changed the way they list the codes and I can't seem to get it right lately. I wish websites would leave well alone - if it ain't broke, don't fix it and all that! I'll go on again when I get home from work and do it properly - won't be long
