A great idea to take the cover kit and show Katrina but how frustrating for you to be oh so close. However many of us have been there and it has come right in the end. She will be totally amazed at the finished piece with all its fabulous colours.

It looks amazing!!! So sorry you didn't get it finished in time though. :/ It'll be a great surprise when it does arrive! She might even appreciate it more after the graduation day hype has past

Ta-da! Tinkerbell is done. I finished her last night and took her to Hobby Lobby for framing this afternoon. I'm glad she's done so I can get on with other things (including a Christmas stocking - ugh, another deadline), but I already kind of miss her.

She did. I told her I was sorry I didn't get it done in time but she's a real sweetheart and said she knows how much time it takes to stitch something and she will love it whenever it gets done. She also said it will be going with her to Mississippi this summer. (She'll be at Ole Miss working on her Master's degree.)
