The Austin Seven has wheels and detailing (and I've found a thinner thread for the lettering), and I've put together wools and transfers for a new project. (More detail on FoF)

DH says the peacock looks more like a dodo :-) - but as I am rather partial to dodos that's just another incentive!

Looks a bit like the Dodo in Alice in Wonderland. But whether its a peacock or a Dodo I know it will be beautiful!

The idea is that the goldwork one (Shine) is a parasol, and the silverworkone (Rain) is an umbrella :-)

Last week I could have used the 'Sunshine'...this week the 'Rain' (snow) would be more useful! :tizzy:

I finished the final (for the moment) Austin - the one with the wording on it. If I hadn't been working from stash I would have used a very very dark grey instead of the stark black, but otherwise I'm really pleased with it! The dodgy Latin means "Here [which on the Bayeux Tapestry refers to its place on the timeline] Sir Herbert thought up the Austin Seven"
