A bit more work (much needed - deadline includes turning this into a brooch, writing the article and recording video clips...) on Mr Badger; someof his left ear (right when looking at him) had gone a bit discoloured but after this photo DH came to the rescue with a cotton bud with silver dip!

As an aside, I'm glad to see that England has started the process of rowing back on badger culling. Your piece might have caught the zeitgeist!

Ha, yes, perhaps I should send a picture to Brian May and see if he can have them mass produced - the ultimate badge(r) for his campaign!

Finishing is always the most nail-biting time! But I am sure that Mr B will look splendid.

Do you use postimage Mabel? I've been hving trouble with them today too if so. I can view some of other people's pictures, but none of my own, I can see your beautiful silver badger!

Yes, I do use them - how odd, you can see other people's but not your own? I'll check out a few other threads and see if that's the case for me as well!

Mr Badger is back and looking wonderful

I suspect the forum software has the odd "moment" picking up third party pictures. They normally come back given time. My Avatar shows on my Ipad but not on my PC which could be due to a software setting on my computer but more likely that the Ipad has cached the picture and is showing the locally stored picture.

Started on a new project, which is the stitched model for a course I'm hoping to teach all too soon... It is or nué, the picture is created "on top of" the gold by couching in different colours.

I'll be following along and learning with every one of your stitches

Only a very few stitches as yet (in fact only fastening on...), but with more detailed explanation of the project and the process on FoF!

Stitched model for workshop made into a card, and a bit more work on the snowdrop. Panic moment when the gold snapped - will FoF about that at some point. Looks like I managed to contain it *phew*
