Ooh that's great, lots of lovely purples

I actually love the color purple so it wasn't too bad stitching pretty much the same color for awhile. I think the blues would drive me crazy like in Sarah's HAED..

Yes all those blues on the first page of mine did drive me a bit batty, I think there were 8 shades of blue and nothing else, but fortunately I'm onto an interesting part now!

Great progress! The colors are lovely! It's really amazing of you using 3 strands on 18ct. I used to stitch 4 strands on 14ct but now switched to 2 strands as I find it much faster to do.

I'll have an update on this tomorrow. I stitched all weekend and am almost done with the first page. I actually ran out of two different color purple's and forgot to even buy one shade of blue so I need to get to the craft store tonight to get those. I'm up to about 4500 stitches which is right around 5% done!

Me too, we need to settle ourselves down on the forum bench here Rose, with some chocolate, so we get pole position for picture viewing!

Okay here's another update. 4,500 stitches now out of 90,300. You can at least see the tree branch now!

Isn't it so exciting when you can start to make things out at last, rather than it just being colours. I love it when designs start to take shape. Fantastic progress.
