still a fair bit to go, the top of the staff, the rest of the hood, and a whole bunch of gold single stitches dotted all around his head. It's turned into one of those you can't stop doing, if i can find my alphabet pattern book i think i will put lettering on the bottom.
The only thing superglue sticks is..its own lid on..
Cats were considered gods in Ancient Times..they haven't forgotten this.

Finished! at last. It's big, about 18" x 20". I changed my mind about putting 'merry christmas' lettering on the bottom, as that gap between the two little red bits hanging down aren't central, it would've looked off-centre and odd.

He's come out so well! I understand what you mean about the two bits of his cloak not being centred making any lettering look a bit odd, but it's a shame as it would have been such a lovely message to add to it -- but fortunately it's a magnificent piece in its own right, message or not!
