Photo time again, got my camera finished off & developed at the weekend.

Firstly once I got onto the second row I ordered all the skin-coloured threads I'd need once I reached her shoulder....

Image

As you know I'd only been working with about 8 main colours, well I did begin to feel some trepidation when I looked at all the confetti in the coming pages! But for now, this was on the 3rd or 4th page of the second row (it feels funny to go all the way back over to the left hand side again and start a new row!), where I was working on more of her butterfly wings...

Image
Still have to keep adjusting my eyes and stepping back & looking at it, from it all being random patterns of stitches it really starts to take on a form & look like a real picture!
Next photo from me in a little while :-)

Absolutely amazing! Looking forward to the shoulder appearing.

By the way, you ordered flesh colours you say? *worries slightly about the blues she spotted and wonders whether the poor fairy has a skin condition*

No Mabel, I only noticed I'd written that after it was up..... I needed those blues/purples/extra reds for her necklace, eyes, lipstick etc. The fairy herself is very pale so don't worry she doesn't have a skin condition!
Although she does have purple/violet eyes if you look reeeaally closely at the original artwork!
