Haha, I reluctantly shove my stitching aside at meal times and eat as quickly as possible so I can get back to it! As for sleeping....what's that again?

I decided to work on this again during this week and get back to Bubble Telescope at the weekend. Animal No 8 is done now......

I've started on the next one as well, which is a cat. If I average one a day all week, by Friday I should only have 2 left and I'll have done them all!

These look fun to do, and your stitching is so neat. I love the little dog.

Aww, isn't he cute!

I had to look twice at the fabric, doesn't it look odd when you see it it this close up (or is it just me...)?

The fabric is rather odd, Mabel it's kind of like a large scale hairy evenweave. Fractional stitches are nigh on impossible because there is nowhere to stick your needle in the middle - luckily there are very few fractionals on these animals!

Angel, keep watching, I'm sure there is a bunny to do on this later in the week!

That is going to be absolutely lovely. Just looking at all your cute animals is making me want to have another go at my afghan before I admit defeat.

Great cats! I have one just like the first picture . . . :kitty:

Afghans like this are fun because you get to complete so many small items. Good work!

That first picture is my ex-cat Schumacher - he now lives with my ex-hubby. :D

Half an hour of work left and I'll be on my way home to get on with the afghan again - horse is two-thirds done so I will finish that and try to get another animal done tonight as well. Rabbit is next.
