Update picture.

I am very angry with this one. I have :anotherfrog: the background color. (Really was a pain as this is a sparkly gold fabric so when you :anotherfrog: you have to be careful not to snag the fabric.) It took longer then it should have but the new color makes me much happier. So then I had 2 days of hockey games and I can't stitch during that time. So very little time the last couple days. Then last night I went into get my other bobbin of 3371 as I had used the last, and I can't find it. The list I keep of all my floss says I have a second one but it is not in anyplace it should be. I have looked and looked and it is just gone. :x How could that happen. And I was right next to Michael's yesterday and did not go in as I knew I had another bobbin of that color. So mad.

How frustrating. I have to say Rose, that it was well worth the previous hassle as I think the colours on this one look beautiful. Hope you find the naughty missing thread.

How annoying, both the frogging (especially unpleasant on metallic fabric) and not being able to find your bobbins of 3371. It looks lovely though! What made you decide to frog the background colour -- too dark or was it just not a shade you liked?

Mabel the green just did not make the whole pattern look right. Not sure if it was to dark or just the wrong color for the overall effect. :thinks:

I went and got the thread after work so will spend and hour winding bobbins. Got 20 new colors and then I can push on with my stitching.

Finally with all of the delays and hockey games to watch I have finally finished this one. It came out wonderful. Now to finish it off and give it as a thank you.

Image

This went into the washer with the other and they are all drying now so should be able to finish it off this evening.

After I was done with this I got my floss box out and sorted the colors I need to start the next angel. Now to cut the material and waste canvas and I can beging the next angel.

Well the Thank You is all finished I made it into a flatfold so it is easy to display. The person I made it for seems to like the more subdued cream and brown colors so that is why I choose this combination of colors.

I am very pleased with how this has finish and the overall look.

Rose, I have just caught up with this, you have made an amazing progress, they are all so beautiful! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I was thinking that the left sides of these pattern, without the chinese (?) symbols, would make great bookmarks, too.
