Well, I have finished all the stitching! Tonight I am going to iron and then start adding the beads and embellishments! Yay bling!! :D Since my last update, I have added diamond-eye stitches, the bargello or flame stitches, and the 4-trip half diamond eye stitch, in addition to more cross-stitch, back-stitch, oblique herringbone, scotch stitch and couching over cable.

Here's how the whole thing looks:

And here's a shot of just the bottom (the part I just finished):

What a beautiful project, and so wonderfully executed -- it's going to look incredible with the embellishments added!

Can I ask, what is "4-trip half diamond eye stitch"?

This is what it looks like:

It's the top-half of a Diamond Eye stitch, and I think it's called a 4-trip because it's using 4 shades of thread, so you thread the needle 4 times.

:applesauce: :applesauce: ....Did you know how to do the fancy stitches before hand ,or was it something you learnt along the way?.

No, I've never done these before, I have just been learning as I go along. I definitely would recommend the Sweetheart Tree charts if you want to learn new stitches, they are very thorough in their explanations and they have very clear diagrams of the stitches. I was pretty intimidated by this project at first because of all the different kinds of stitches, but I have to say it has not been difficult at all, it's just following the chart & instructions.
