I absolutely love the butterfly – as well as the hedgehog, puppy and tulips – and everything else!! I'm also very temped to do the kitty coasters, myself now!! :D :applesauce:

My only concern is your stitcher's bag!! Possibly not the best thing to carry through customs – with “STASH” written on it!!

More pup -- done the grass, and practically all of the 5 darkest shades; five more shades in the dog, but all going from light tan to cream now!

Love your work Mabel! Am a BIG fan of tulips so am especially interested in how they turn out, and also your wool stitch - haven't done tapestry work for years, that will be fun to watch.

Here's what I managed to do during the week -- I hope to get a lot more done this weekend! (and also get back to the sampler and the tulip, and possibly start on the Necessities sampler... well, a girl can dream :-)). Three more shades to do in the dog, very light tan, cream and off-white, then the blue background (which will be worked "free-hand", just putting in one-strand crosses randomly around the dog), and a bit of backstitch on the eyes and nose.
