Great project!! I must ask though - how do you like stitching 2 over 1 on 22 ct hardanger?

I'm on the verge of starting a HAED on 22 ct, but I keep wavering back and forth between 1 over 1 and 2 over 1. I love the coverage of 2 over 1, but don't like the bulkiness and unevenness of my stitches. On the other hand 1 over 1 coverage isn't great, especially when working with lots of darker colours. Your opinion would be much appreciated.

Thank you hun. I ABSOLUTELY love working on 2 over 1 on 22ct hardanger. So much so, I doubt i'll work with anything else again. The coverage is just perfect and it isn't too bulky. You just get that satisfying sturdy feeling of the fabric once it has been stitched. I think with any large complicated projects you're going to get that whatever, but its all even. Just make sure you're using a good frame so your material is always taut and you shouldn't have any problems at all.

I would definitely recommend it! I hope this helps?
