Well done everyone of you big losers!!
Twinkleberry, your dress is absolutely beautiful!! ... and the difference between the two photos is incredible!!
I lost 1lb, since last Monday - not too bad as I had oven chips last night and creamy sauce with veggies, for a treat on Saturday ....

I did pay some attention to what I was eating this past week but very seriously.
However.
I stood on the scales the first time in a month. A month ago I was 76 kilos, and now I am 79.

I felt I was putting on weight - comfort eating and not moving at all - but this number made me scared really.
OK, these scales that I have at home are not very reliable. Last year I used to go to a pharmacy every week and weigh myself on their electronic scales. I have to find a similar place near my new flat.
Now I am really determined. I need to get back in shape by the time I am going to Sweden - mid July, it seems.

Well done everybody, on your losses this week.
Twinkleberry, I love your dress and what an incredible difference between the two photos! I bet you were so pleased with yourself.
One more week and I will be joining in.

I suppose I should have said when I started this thread, that although I am on this long term to lose a significant amount of weight I have a short term deadline looming too.
My partner's daughter is getting married on July 10th and it is going to be a big do. She is lovely but her and all her family including her mum, who I have only met once, are all really slim and stunning. I am going to feel the frumpy outsider. I have bought my dress already but would love to be a bit slimmer for the day.
I guess that is why I am so frustrated at a pound a week off as July is speeding towards us. After the wedding I will be quite happy with a pound a week!

Well done to everyone who has lost weight
Liz I understand what you mean about the wedding but I am sure whatever your weight you will look lovely, try not to worry about anyone else and just enjoy the day

My son gets married in August and I am feelng a bit like that as I have loads to lose but I can only try and stay positive good luck.
I weighed in today and have lost 1lb it's a start
I also do what Dawn and Sarah suggest save £1 for every lb I lose and when I resist buying choc bar or cake put that money away too, ready for my next stash buying session

Well done everyone, you're an inspiration to me!
You look fantastic Twinks.
Minij, you'll look great on the big day. 1lb is a great start!
Liz, I really understand how you feel. I always feel the fat frumpy one next to my lovely slim friends, but I bet all everyone else see's at the wedding is the lovely person you are.

they probably won't even think about weight, but'll see how much the colour or style of your outfit suits you. A big beaming smile will be your best accessory!

A smile always lights the person up.
Just keep on going Liz, every pound off is a pound nearer your goal.
I've been a bit naughty the last couple of days. Not had anything terrible, but not really stuck to the diet plan as I should. I'm stupid!
Will get myself right back on track pronto ... a couple of good

should do the trick!

I really don't know how to do this

I have such severe acid problems again, my mouth always tastes sour and I feel I need to eat something... it's terrible, really.
Also, with this cold, headache and the rainy weather there is not much hope of having much exercise. I try to cut down on sweets, but couldn't exclude them totally yet. Well, I think I will have to be grateful if I don't put on any more this week.

I skipped group as I couldn't be bothered with it today but I got weighed in at 1 and I maintained.
Not a gain so I'm counting it as a good thing

exactly the same as last week, i put in 0% effort
I think I am two persons, one wants to lose more weight and the other cant be bothered to put in the effort.
I had weight loss surgery almost 18 months ago and was told i would lose 50 to 70% of my excess weight in 2 years. Well, i hit the 50% mark okay, but after that I was told if i didn''t exercise and watch what i ate, then i wouldn''t lose any more...well damn that doctor..he is right.
Okay, will try and be a bit more mindful of what i shove in my gob this week.
