Crikey. Last update in March  . Life has definitely been getting in the way!
I've still been stitching though.
This is Riverside by John Clayton

Image.
Sorry it's so dark, it was a bit of a hasty photo. It was going to be for my dad's birthday, but considering that his birthday this Sunday, I think it'll have to be for his Christmas present instead.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and sorry it has taken me so long to update. I've gone up to 3 days a week at work which means Hurrah!! and a big sigh of relief that things seem to be improving workwise, but the downside is that I seem to have very little home computer time any more :( .
Anyway, I'm still stitching and have three updates.
Firstly I had Celtic Christmas framed and I must say that Betty Stitchkit has done another fabulous job.
Image
Secondly the viola player in our quartet is celebrating a significant birthday, so I stitched the third of the Ink Circles clefs to make into a card for her
Image
This one is Alto Gether Now, as it is the alto clef and the one which viola players use. It is my favourite of the three
Finally, I'm still working away on Riverside which I'm hoping to get finished in time to get it framed to give to my dad for Christmas.
Image
We're off in the caravan for a few days tomorrow and the weather is going to be appalling according to the forecast, so we may spend a bit of time anchored down in the caravan, so hopefully I should be able to get a fair bit of this done this week.

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful updates, Jo. Glad that you have gotten more days for working, but miss your updates and posts, though what a good reason you have. The frame is perfect for your Celtic Christmas. Just makes her look more beautiful, if that is possible. Pretty card and great update on your Dad's gift. Your making good progress and I think you should be able to meet your goal!
