Fantastic cards Mabel, I do love looking at this thread but I'm afraid I don't comment that often...

I can't tell that Daniel's card is off-centre, even though I know (because you've told me) that it is. I'm sure he won't mind and will be thrilled with his beautiful personal only-one-of-its-kind card.
WIPs:

Plans:

Lovely cards, Mabel - and I didn't notice the dog was off centre until you pointed it out!

They are both very cute and I am sure the off center is not going to be noticed. :applesauce:

Those cards are so cute! I can't tell the doggie is a bit off center and I'd like to think I would have a better sense about that than a 6 year old... I'm sure both children will love these cards! I love the fabric the kitty is on

Just a quickie to show how I mounted the Russian Whale, it's an A5 card in mat silver from Craft Creations:

Image

Craft Creations have wonderful cards, but their standard postage charge of £3 does make it very expensive when you only want about 4! And I was a little miffed when they sent me those four together with an enormous catalogue weighing more than half a kilo which I hadn't asked for and won't be using. So I sent an email to sugget that they charge less for small orders and recoup that money by not sending out very heavy catalogues with those small orders. I got an apologetic email back saying the new catalogue was sent out as standard, whatever the size of the order, but she did understand £3 was a lot of postage when your actual order was less than that, and she'd suggest they add a different charge for smaller orders. We'll see!

I also managed to do a little of DTBD's hair -- the variegation is clearer in real life, and looks fun :-)

I'm sorry I haven't commented on everyone's work, I'm trying to at least have a look at it but that's about all I can manage :( !

Love the whale and the little dog and cat cards.

I do agree that £3 standard postage is a bit steep. I hope they take your suggestion on board and omit the catalogue with small orders and charge a bit less.
