Totally awesome for sure :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:
I once got loose in the Vikings Loom and bought the kit for The Angel design that Helene is now stitching. It is a fabulous shop/house.

Beautiful work, as always. I looked at the shop where you bought the box, and am sorry I did not know about its existence when I was in York. The box and the design obviously look like created for each other. Very well done, Mabel. :applesauce:

WOW Mabel, what beautiful stitching (love the goldfish) and what an excellent job of fitting into the just-right box.

It is another Mabel Masterpiece!

A little something I started because sometimes even the Ottoman Tulip is too exacting. The transfer on this is wonky and the circles I've done so far are rustic to say the least, but it's wonderfully relaxing, I even find the colours soothing! (the colours were the immediate reason for starting this - I found I;d ordered some spares for which I already had spares  )
The design is by Oh Sew Bootiful who also did the wave I stitched recently.

Rustic and wonky they might look to your critical eye but as long as it's relaxing that's the main thing!
BTW I do rustic and wonky regularly!!

Nice pattern though! :applesauce:

Wonky?! it doesn't look wonky to me, it suits not being quite err... perfect, and you know what the trouble with being a perfectionist is don't you.

I love rustic too :)

I think it's perfectly charming and the colours are so different from your other projects, so soft and muted and will suit the design beautifully.

Can't wait to see your progress on this beauty

I need a travel project for when we go and visit my MIL in a bit. Well, I don't really, I've got plenty already :-) but I couldn't resist a parrot from the Anchor book of crewelwork. In the book he is purple on a blue fabric and I don't like the stitches much, but I'm just taking my collection of floche and I'll see how he turns out!

Percy is growing :-) - most of this was done while with MIL, the purple breast feathers got added at my Monday stitching group. Haven't quite decided what stitches to use for the rest of him.

I've just ordered three from eBay - they were all from the same seller and 20% off if you bought three items; irresistible :-)

Mabel, Percy's breast feather stitches are very handsome. The chain stitch I recognise, but what's the other one? Looks like a scalloped buttonhole effort...

It's a sort of combination of the two, Mary Corbet uses it a lot - a foundation of chain stitch and then detached buttonhole stitch in the chains. Here I've done it on one side only, but she sometimes does both sides. I thought one side would look more feathery and therefore more suitable for Percy's frilly shirt front :-)

By the way, did you get my PM reply about the trestles?
