Plain old DMC perle -- I thought I'd do something that wouldn't strain the budget for a change :-)

It definitely stitches up well--looks metallic? Or is it just the lighting? I'm going to have to sort thru my threads and start trying out a few of these stitches soon

Finished Peacock Feathers :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
This is the "plain" DMC perle version (though there is some bling in the beads, which have a green metallic shine), but the chart pack will also have suggestions for a REALLY blingy version using Treasure Braid and Caron Snow (or Vineyard metallic silks if the budget allows :-))

Did a little stitching on holiday, the first colour of Horizon. It looks totally lop-sided and not very promising :-D ! I hope the other colours will make the difference.
