Wow! Love the peacock feathers!   Is it possible that you'll be doing a butterfly design? :beg: :)

Mayne, no butterfly planned yet, although the next one after Horizon does have a dragonfly in it, and if that works the way I hope it will, a butterfly may well follow :-) (oh, and there are some small butterflies in "Sprinkles", but I haven't stitched that one yet...)

I'm finding it interesting to see how Horizon develops colour by colour :-) -- here is the half-way stage, yellow and green. Blue and lavender to go!

Love the colors in this one. I almost don't want to see the 2 new colors as this looks so good as it is. :D

Finished it last night -- I'm pleased with the way the colours work together, and was just thinking it would work with any combination of 4 colours that happen to take your fancy, really :-)!

Next on the list is Resurrection, I'm looking forward to using lots of sparkly Caron Snow for it :-). But for now here is Horizon:

I like the 'asymmetry' to this design! I was watching it develop and it's really a pretty finale! :D :applesauce: :applesauce:
The idea of using different colour combinations appeals to me...bright or pastel, harmony or 'clashing' Endless possibilities!

BTW how do you think up such perfect names for your designs? :thinks:

That's one of the things that rather appealed to me too -- I'm a sucker for "re-usable" designs :-)

:-) thank you -- not really sure, sometimes a name comes into my head which suggests a design or colour scheme, sometimes the other way round; here the colour scheme came first, and it reminded me of trees, sky and either sunlight or a sandy path, and that reminded me of those "horizon pictures" you draw as a child, a line across the paper and two converging lines to make a path with the first signs of perspective to it :-).

Sometimes both the name and the design are inspired by something external -- like Resurrection, which I based on the story of the beetle who became a dragonfly.
