Finally figured out what I wanted to stitch and I can't believe how fast it is stitching up! About 3/4 done with the first side after 1 day of working on it.... lol

Here is a tutorial on ytube. At 1.45 sec there is a picture of how to whip sitich. It is the same for biscornu or just joining two pieces together like the fob....

Thanks so much! I was totally at a loss I couldn't understand at all, I'm sure a lightbulb appeared above my head whilst watching that video. I have got a biscornu kit but never actually made one!

It can be any shape that you want you just can't exceed the size.

Finished mine yesterday! I'm really happy with how it turned out, especially since this is my first scissors fob. Wish I could share photos, but I guess I'll have to be patient.

hope everyones getting on ok, I should start mine!! would everyone like to keep it them a secret? or should we post pics as we finish? i have set up a poll to run until the sign up deadline, could everyone pls vote? the poll is slightly messed up but it keeps doing it, could everyonr just vote for secret or non-secret pls

So glad to have finished, This is my first 2011 finish! Not amazingly happy with my whip stitch, I used silk thread and I don't think it was the best idea as it kept snapping but my Husband said it was really good and that he would sell it in a shop....lol, so I'm just being self critical, it's the first I've ever made and I really hope whoever gets it is happy as I would be devasted if not!
