

I think she looks very nice. Here's a closeup of her face:

You can see all the nice sparklies in the backstitching. The white area above her earring was supposed to be a bullion knot, but I could never get it to look like anything more than a tangled mess. So I gave up and just used a regular backstitch and I think it still looks fine. Surprisingly, I was able to figure out french knots no problem.
And the nice big bow on her kimono, with more sparklies!

With this project I learned I don't mind regular backstitches, but I get bored very very quickly with other specialty stitches. The lazy daisies were especially difficult to push through.
