Wonderful lighthouses. He will just love that.

I gave Dad his Lighthouses for Father's Day on Sunday. He loved it.. as I knew he would
I had planned to give it to him for his birthday earlier in the month, but kept fidgeting with the water to make them "level" and had a hard time with some long stitches for rigging on the last one, Rock of Ages. Finally told myself to stop putzing around.. and I framed it that night so I couldn't mess with it any more. Told him the whole story about almost getting busted.. he had no idea (or had forgotten about it). When I gave it to him.. I told him he could only have it on loan because I would need it back in August so I could enter it in the State Fair.
I forgot to take a photo.. but will be going over there this weekend and will try and remember to snap a photo. And he's already told me the next lighthouse he wants me to do.. another on Isle Royale.
