An update!
I am almost at the bottom, and will soon be working across the width of the chart. Due to time restraints, and a worsening tendonitis, that is shortening stitching time, I may have to leave off some of the wolf's bum! Otherwise it won't be done in time.
I just hope it will look okay.

Fantastic progress!! Sorry to hear you are having problems with your hands You know what, I think it would look just fine with the bottom edge finished off and the right hand side tidied up....the piece would then just focus on both of the wolves heads...no-one will ever know....except us and we won't tell if you wont!

This is so wonderful, so realistic. They really look like devoted soulmates.
I think that nacho's suggestion is a great one. That's one a lot of the QS and SK's are on the HAED site, so no reason that you can't do the same. I put my hand over the right hand side to look at the full picture, and if we don't tell your niece that you cut off some of the right hand side she will never know. Good reason for starting in the upper left corner.
Hope your hands get better soon. You have to take care of them so you can keep stitching.
