but then like Karen thought of Night owl -- of course the moon should have told me that straight away

Ostrich is so cute. And so clever when the owl ended up as N.

I would guess P is for Panda or maybe Penguin? Pig? I kind of hope it is Penguin as I love them.

These designs are so adorable I just love seeing them each day.

I looked back through the pages to see if you had named the designer, I could not find a mention of it. Could you post the designer so I can look for these patterns. Was it a kit or was it a pamphlet????
