Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. This is one of the most fun and addictive pieces I have stitched and I'm not exactly sure why, since I really, really love all my other WIPS. Might be all those kittens meowing at me that makes it louder than the rest of them.

I cannot believe it has been almost a year since I last posted an update on this, but it's been a good long while since I worked on it. You'd think after all this time I would have gotten lots of help on such a feline oriented piece but the weather has been warm (actually hot) and most of the time has been spent working on their sun tans when I relent and open the window to the "catio" to let my girls and the air conditioning outside.


Laverne did make regular visits (this being one of the least interfering), especially when I would take my nightly progress pic. Actually I think the point is more to get her pic taken.


Shirley preferred to peek out from her favorite spot. Basket on top of the microwave which has a perfect peep hole.


Finally page 2 is completed!!!


This has been so much fun. The tree is finally being stitched. One wing of the angel cat at the top of the tree and about 1/3 of a cat is stitched. I love stitching this and have to get to it way more often (I say that a lot, I'm afraid). I also love the tree branches against the night sky. Lots and lots of confetti but worth every stitch.!
