I have a couple little finishes.


This is Apres Ski (Margaret Sherry). I changed the charted text of “happy Christmas” to “World’s Okay’est Skier” because it’s for a friend who broke her leg skiing last winter. I also changed the snow from the provided floss to DMC Etoile (one strand white and one strand blue). I also changed the fabric because I apparently lost the fabric that came with the kit.




I finished this little zipper pouch, which was a gift from my daughter-in-law’s brother and his wife. (They got it in Paris when they were on vacation there last year.) I had to remove one of the side seams so I could get my hand in a better (less painful) position. I still have to sew it back together and iron it - maybe tomorrow.

Two very thoughtful presents, very appropriate and beautifully stitched. Well done, Debby!

I love both of those....and what a clever solution to undo a side seam!!
Wish i'd thought of that when i decorated a little purse!

I had no choice if I wanted to stitch it. The angles at which I had to position my wrists were so painful I would never have been able to finish it. I’m not sure what I’m going to use it for but I sure do like it.

I absolutely agree!! The purse must have been tedious to stitch but the mouse is just beyond cute!! Great finishes!!

And I’ve done one more section on the Cheyenne sampler. This is the Wyoming State Capitol building. (Oh my gosh, soooo much backstitching.)

I am so glad it wasn't me doing all that b/s but it certainly is worth it Debby. The sampler will be a real work of art by the time it is all done
