It's a dress well worth working on - she's coming on beautifully!

Beautiful!
(I did always think she has impossibly long legs, but I suspect envy on my part.)

Thank you ladies, today was the calm before the storm
so I have been making the most of it in my conservatory. I started by finishing off the bottom water and rushes:
Before scrolling up the piece:
She now has a head

Very delicate.
Do take care in the Windy Weather forecast!!
You might think about bringing everything indoors from the Conservatory

Thank you
Serinde's comment on her legs led me back to Ruth Sanderson's original painting where you can see one of her feet underneath and she is on tip toes. No doubt trying to avoid getting her dress muddy but by looks of things she has not succeeded
While we have had storms the last couple of days it has not stopped the primroses from coming out:
I am not sure what the red flowers on the far left are supposed to be. There is nothing red out in my garden at the moment
I have Daffodils, snowdrops, reticulata irises, crocus and of course the primroses

I agree. She is just stunning! I envy your garden. It’s still too early for anything to bud and leaf yet.

She looks lovely, and the flowers are probably artistic licence
- we've got snowdrops, some crocuses and a single brave daffodil, but like you nothing red yet.
