That’s wonderful. Love the way the thread has been used to create depth and movement.

It uses four different thicknesses: coton a broder, 2 strands, 1 strand, thin sewing thread. The gradations in the tail are a little more sudden than I would have liked, but it's all good practice!

I liked the tail, because the change in depth makes the tail seem as if it was moving.

That was probably the designer's intention - but I hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out, so thank you!

A bit more fish as a cold has left my head incapable of dealing with the umpteen colours of my Silk Shading!
