^_^ Yeah, this chart is really good because it's mainly chunks of colour and not many different changes.

I got my EZ stitch frame today and found that I hadn't left enough room at the bottom of my work to secure it onto a scroll frame properly...I don't know how to secure it onto a scroll frame properly either...so I stitched it on and it seems to work but unrolls so I then clamped it :P

The bunny is coming along nicely, I could NEVER stitch without marking off.

Good progress Angel.
Do you like the new frame?

Jess, all my projects in the venturing into evenweaves thread were done without marking off. You get used to looking and counting. Bet you could do it if you had to!

You are VERY brave (and maybe a little crazy ) and I will only not mark off if the world is suddenly exhausted of all its pens/pencil supplies *clings onto highlighters*!

Hahaha
Erm, yes, crazy would probably be the one!
It was only cos I couldn't get them printed off at that time and I just ended up doing them from the pattern by sight.
Mind you, I'm going to start a larger project soon on 27ct evenweave over 1 and I will be marking off on that one for sure!!!
I'm not THAT brave!

*clings to her frame* Ooooh it's loverly!!!!!! Only it came with no instructions at all. I have no idea how to secure the chart onto the chart stand or as mentioned my sistching onto a scroll frame...in fact it took my dad to set it up and tell me what the spare rods were for and how to use the thing at all :P

My chart is like A3 in size so it's pretty big and with it being black and white only I get the symbols mixed up. I like markers too. I'd hug them if I could copy the chart and use them.

Somebunny is a boy I believe... I'm hoping to get to the halfway point height wise tonight. I'm there width wise at the moment. Then I can trim the material to the right size.

So you know how I got a new frame I don't have to hold? Well I originally wanted it because holding fabric/frames makes my hand cramp up terribly, but now I've used it a bit...I'm getting ambitious. My stitching speed is suffering for it, but I'm trying to stitch using both hands which apparently is much faster than using just one when you get used to it, but at the moment it's slow. Still, better to practice with a nice simple project like this than with something more complex.

Great progress you have there, Angel! :applesauce:

...and don't worry with the frame...you'll soon get used to it! :)

Happy stitching!

The only thing about the frame I'm still not used to is the chart holder (my chart keeps falling off...gonna have to fix that) and securing my stitching to it, but we're experimenting with that tomorrow ^_^

I'm practicing stitching with both hands now which is really hard for me as my left hand is practically useless. I can't even hold things with it properly.

:applesauce: :applesauce: to you for trying new techniques and ways of stitching! It's often slower when you first try something new, but who knows in time you may find it's much quicker!

I've thought of trying it but I tend to stitch curled up in my chair with a hoop, so I think I'll have to stick to slow-but-sure :-)
