:( I was so sad yesterday not getting to see my little man but it is all good because today I have 2 to watch. Your stash will grow just give it some TLC but I don't think Iwould be sprinkling the Miricle grow on it. To stinky and dirty.

Stash merely needs to be sprinkled with copious amounts of love and enthusiasm, and just a tiny pinch of sheer "I want that!", and it'll grow in no time at all :-)

And if it grows as well as Mr :snowman: you'll be doing very well -- great progress!

Rose, if I don't update this every day or every so often, you have my permission to give me a kick up the :silenced:. I think you're right about miracle grow, too messy and stinky.

Excellent progress!

Glad the boxes were helpful for you. Getting the bobbins in with them as well is what I like about them. :D

Before I joined this site all my stash could fit in one of those plastic storage bins that fit under your bed. I've since added about a couple of draws worth and even went out and bought a house just so I'd have a room just for stash. And now I've got to fill up that stash.

I love the snowman. He has such personality. You'll be done in no time. I don't know if what I do in a day would be noticable compared to the previous day.

Before I joined this site my stash didn't even fill a plastic carrier bag.

Now though, since I met all these enablers ......................

  :silenced: I don't know what you're talking about, TB! This forum? Enabling? Perish the thought!

*goes away to let off evil cackle at the thought of all those forum mebers seduced into stash buying*

*realises she's one of them herself as she looks at all the stash that wasn't around last year...*

I'm getting fed up with Ed's hat - the two colours are so close to each other, it's hard to tell which is which. I've done a wee more of the background. Think might do a bit of Ed's scarf tonight. :thinks:

Is 38p steep for DMC threads. I know you can get on eBay for 28p and here as well. I seen a site where the threads comes prewind on a card bobbins. I think that's righting handy.

I haven't the urge just yet to go splurging on stash yet but if yous keep it up, that might just change. Oh my cross stitch book came on Mon (forgot to mention it  ).

Oh thank you everyone for your rapport. :applesauce:.

You are coming along so well with this. It's growing fast! :applesauce: :applesauce:
38p is good as CC says.
I got 100 off a hong kong seller which with postage worked out at 22p each, but then you have to wind them onto bobbins of course. They took 5 days to arrive and I was really pleased with them.
:D

This is coming out so great! I love it!  As for your stash, I am terribly unorganized at the moment myself. Most of my stuff is still in the plastic bags from the stores! I am slowly but surely getting my floss organized on stitchbows but still haven't figured out what to do with my current WIP's.

I thought I better put a wee update here today before I get :poke: by you know who. :shifty: . I made a wee start on the scarf and that's about it.. Any progress is better than none. I'm trying to type and stitch at the same time at the mo.

Oh, oh my thread boxes came and pretty quick to boot. So I'll be winding all weekend. I hope I don't get RSI at the end.

Have fun bobbin-winding -- but don't forget to put in a few stitches as well!
