At this point I've become so obsessed and inspired by all sorts of patterns I keep finding that who knows when I'll be able to get to my ballerina, but Nic I hope you don't mind if I "steal" your idea for her necklace - I think it's a wonderful idea, and imitation IS the highest form of flattery...right?

It is a very beautiful piece and I love the jewel idea especially as that necklace really stands out on its own it will really set it off!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately (yet again)

I haven't given up on my XS though and here's proof.....

Although you can't see it in this picture, there is an awful lot of metallics in her dress. I'm also going to get a nice jewel of some kind to put onto her necklace. Thought it might be nicer than a french knot.
