What quick progress you are making on this HAED. It is coming along really nicely and it is amazing to 'drop in' and see how much you have achieved since my last look.

Update time! Got more of her butterfly wing filled in - I love the pattern & colouring of the brown/black in it as well as the really bright red spots

As you can see just one or two more little stitches to get filled in....

I also tend to work in big colour blocks on this (if there are any) like in the black roses/leaves around the corners, but most of the reddish background is made up of a couple of different shades. Sometimes virtually a checkerboard pattern (alternate stitches of each colour!) in which case I do as much as I can of one colour with one length, then fill in the gaps with the other colour, so I can alternate between marking out a new area and filling in gaps

Next update - this is me! I decided it'd be good to get a picture holding it up so you can see how big it is -

Her shoulder is starting to appear! The confetti is unbelievable!, I think the only way I coped with it was because it was tent stitch & because the effect of it is so good & realistic

And looking at the pattern, I think her skin is the only area that has confetti as much as this, so I think I'll cope

I think as I am over 50 I will not attempt a HAED, I take long enough with small projects
I am in awe of you and all other HAED cases
